Free Spotlight Friday Terms

By submitting this form, you agree to the following:

  • No purchase or payment is required to enter.
  • Open to eligible locally owned businesses located within Central Florida and within Central Florida Local’s current coverage area.
  • One business may be randomly selected each week. Entry does not guarantee selection or a future spotlight.
  • Businesses that are not selected will remain in the drawing for future Free Spotlight Fridays unless they request to be removed.
  • If selected, Central Florida Local will contact the business using the information provided. If we are unable to reach you or cannot reasonably arrange a visit that week, another business may be selected.
  • To preserve the authenticity of our content, the exact date and time of our visit will not be disclosed. Our visit will be conducted anonymously during normal business hours.
  • The selected business agrees to allow Central Florida Local to film and create content about the business. Central Florida Local retains full editorial and creative control over the finished content, including what is filmed, included, edited, and published.
  • Selection does not guarantee a positive review, specific statements about the business, a minimum video length, views, engagement, followers, customers, or sales.
  • Central Florida Local retains ownership of the original video and related content. Businesses are welcome to share Central Florida Local’s original published post. Downloading, editing, reposting as original content, or using the video in paid advertising or other commercial promotions requires prior written permission.
  • A Free Spotlight Friday feature has no cash value and cannot be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for another service.
  • Central Florida Local may reschedule, skip, cancel, or modify a Free Spotlight Friday when necessary and may remove entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, outside the coverage area, or otherwise ineligible.
  • By entering, you confirm that you are the business owner or are authorized to submit the business for consideration.
