Location coordinates or location-derived search information may be processed by our website and by mapping, geocoding, places, or search providers necessary to deliver the requested feature. We do not use these optional location features to intentionally track your movements continuously or collect background location data. Location-related information may appear in temporary application caches or technical logs depending on the services and configuration used. We do not publicly display a visitor’s precise device location through these features.

AI Event Finder and Automated Searches

Our AI Event Finder may use an external artificial intelligence and web-search service to locate, summarize, categorize, and display public event information. AI-generated or automatically gathered event details can be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Event listings should be confirmed with the organizer or official event source before attending. Event Finder results do not necessarily represent events submitted directly to Central Florida Local.

Restaurant Roulette and Maps Services

Restaurant Roulette may use Google Maps Platform services, including Places, geocoding, or related location services, to locate restaurants, interpret search areas, and return nearby suggestions. Depending on the feature used, search criteria and location-related data may be transmitted to Google or other necessary service providers. Their processing is subject to their own applicable privacy terms.

Android Mobile Application

Central Florida Local may offer an Android application that displays the live CentralFloridaLocal.com website in an app interface. When you use the app, the website features and data practices described in this policy generally apply, including accounts, forms, cookies, analytics, external links, and optional location-based searches.

The app may process basic technical information required for operation, such as network requests and device or application diagnostics. Location permissions, if requested, are used to support features you choose to access, such as nearby event or restaurant searches. You can manage permissions in Android settings. The app requires an internet connection to load live website content.

Listing submissions and edits may be subject to review and approval before appearing publicly.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for activity conducted through their account.

Directory Listings and Public Information

Central Florida Local operates online directories that may include Business Listings, Event Listings, Local Deals, and other local information.

Information submitted for publication may be displayed publicly on CentralFloridaLocal.com. Depending on the listing type, this may include the business or organization name, listing title, description, category, city, address, phone number, business hours, pricing information, websites, registration links, social media profiles, deal details, promotional codes, redemption information, restrictions, event dates and times, photos, logos, flyers, and other information intended to appear publicly.

Information collected specifically for administrative purposes, such as a submitter’s private email address, will not ordinarily be displayed publicly unless it is clearly provided or intended as public contact information.

Because directory listings are publicly accessible, published information may also be indexed by search engines or accessed, cached, copied, linked to, or shared by third parties outside Central Florida Local’s control.

Business Listings

When you submit a Business Listing, we may collect and use the information provided to review, administer, publish, maintain, and display the listing.

Business Listing information may include the business name, description, categories, location, address, hours, phone number, website, social media profiles, pricing information, images, logos, reservation or ordering links, and other information intended for public display.

Administrative information submitted solely so Central Florida Local can communicate with the person managing the listing will not ordinarily be displayed publicly.

Submitting a Business Listing does not guarantee approval or publication.

Local Deals

When you submit a Local Deal, we may collect information about the business and promotional offer, including the deal title and description, business information, location, deal type, promotional or coupon codes, redemption instructions, restrictions, exclusions, start date, expiration date, website or redemption links, promotional images, and submitter contact information.

Approved Local Deals may be displayed publicly on CentralFloridaLocal.com.

Administrative contact information provided by the submitter will not ordinarily be displayed publicly unless it is specifically intended as customer-facing information.

Local Deals may expire or be removed from public display after the stated expiration date or if the deal is no longer valid.

Event Listings

When you submit an event, information intended for the public Event Listing may be published on CentralFloridaLocal.com.

Public event information may include the event name, organizer, business or venue name, category, city, location, address, start and end dates, start and end times, event description, admission or ticket information, registration links, social media links, photos, flyers, promotional materials, and other information intended for attendees.

Contact information provided solely for administrative purposes, such as a private organizer or submitter email address, will not ordinarily be displayed publicly unless it is clearly intended as public event contact information.

Submitting an event does not guarantee approval, publication, social media promotion, attendance by Central Florida Local, or other coverage.

Business Suggestions

When you submit a business through our Suggest a Spot or similar suggestion form, we may use the information provided to review the suggestion and determine whether the business may be a fit for a future Central Florida Local feature.

Submitting a business suggestion does not guarantee that Central Florida Local will visit, contact, or feature that business.

Suggestions may remain on file for future consideration unless removal is requested.

Information submitted through a business suggestion form will not be sold to third parties.

Share Your Story and Community Submissions

Central Florida Local may allow individuals, businesses, and organizations to submit stories, articles, photographs, and related information through our Share Your Story form or similar submission features.

When you submit a story, we may collect:

When you contact us regarding a Business Spotlight, Event Spotlight, advertising opportunity, event coverage, partnership, or other business service, we may use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, communicate with you, coordinate services, process transactions, provide requested services, and maintain appropriate business records.

Submitting an inquiry does not obligate you to purchase a service.

Payment Information

Payments for certain Central Florida Local services, directory upgrades, advertising, or other paid features may be processed through third-party payment processors.
