These Event Submission Terms & Conditions (“Event Terms”) apply to events submitted for inclusion in the Central Florida Local Events Directory.
By submitting an event, you agree to these Event Terms and Central Florida Local’s Privacy Policy.
Eligibility and Authorization
By submitting an event, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You are the event organizer, host, participating business, authorized representative, or otherwise have permission to submit the event information.
- The information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
- You have the necessary rights or permission to submit any photos, flyers, logos, graphics, descriptions, links, or other materials included with your submission.
Submission Does Not Guarantee Publication
Submitting an event does not guarantee approval, publication, promotion, attendance, social media coverage, or any other feature by Central Florida Local.
Central Florida Local may approve, reject, edit, correct, suspend, or remove event listings at our discretion.
Event Information
Submitted event information may be displayed publicly on CentralFloridaLocal.com, including:
- Event name
- Organizer, business, or venue name
- Event category
- City and location
- Event address
- Start and end dates and times
- Admission or ticket information
- Event description
- Website or registration links
- Social media links
- Photos, flyers, logos, or promotional graphics
- Other information intended for the public listing
Contact information provided solely for administrative purposes, such as a private submitter email address, will not ordinarily be displayed publicly unless it is clearly intended to be part of the event listing.
Accuracy and Changes
Event organizers are responsible for ensuring that submitted information is accurate.
If an event is canceled, postponed, relocated, sold out, rescheduled, or otherwise materially changed, the organizer should provide updated information as soon as reasonably possible.
Central Florida Local does not guarantee that event information will always remain current and is not responsible for outdated or inaccurate information supplied by third parties.
Submitted Content
You retain ownership of materials you own and submit.
By submitting photos, flyers, logos, graphics, descriptions, or other content, you grant Central Florida Local permission to display, reproduce, resize, crop, format, and otherwise use those materials as reasonably necessary to create, maintain, display, or promote the event listing and the Central Florida Local Events Directory.
You confirm that you have the right or permission to provide those materials.
Central Florida Local may make reasonable formatting, spelling, capitalization, or presentation changes without changing the intended meaning of the submission.
Event Listings Are Informational
Central Florida Local provides event listings for general informational and discovery purposes.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Central Florida Local does not organize, operate, supervise, host, sponsor, or control third-party events listed in the directory.
Publication of an event does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee by Central Florida Local.
No Guarantee of Social Media Coverage
A directory event listing is separate from a Central Florida Local Event Spotlight or other social media feature.
Submitting or receiving approval for an event listing does not guarantee:
- Attendance by Central Florida Local
- A social media post or video
- An Event Spotlight
- Promotion outside the Events Directory
- Any minimum number of views, clicks, attendees, ticket sales, or other results
Event Expiration
Event listings may automatically stop appearing in upcoming-event results after the scheduled event date or end time.
Central Florida Local may also remove listings that are expired, canceled, duplicate, inaccurate, or no longer relevant.
Free and Paid Event Directory Features
Central Florida Local may offer free Event Listings as well as optional paid Featured Event Listings or other enhanced directory placements.
Any paid directory upgrade provides only the features specifically described at the time of purchase.
A paid or Featured Event Listing does not automatically include an Event Spotlight, social media video, social media post, attendance, endorsement, or other promotional service unless specifically stated.
Moderation and Removal
Central Florida Local may reject, edit, suspend, or remove event submissions that we reasonably determine are:
- Incomplete
- Misleading or inaccurate
- Fraudulent or unauthorized
- Duplicative
- Outside our coverage area
- Inappropriate for our audience
- Potentially infringing on another party’s rights
- No longer current or relevant
- Otherwise unsuitable for the Events Directory
Central Florida Local is not obligated to provide a reason for declining or removing a listing.
Third-Party Tickets, Registration and Websites
Event listings may contain links to third-party websites, ticketing services, registration platforms, social media pages, or other outside services.
Central Florida Local does not control those services and is not responsible for their availability, security, transactions, refunds, policies, products, services, or content.
Any transaction or interaction between a visitor and a third party is between those parties.
Safety and Event Responsibility
Event organizers are solely responsible for the operation, safety, legality, accessibility, staffing, permits, insurance, ticketing, and other requirements associated with their event.
Central Florida Local is not responsible for injuries, losses, damages, cancellations, disputes, or other issues arising from attendance at or participation in a third-party event.
Changes to These Terms
Central Florida Local may update these Event Submission Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Events Directory, services, business practices, technology, or applicable requirements.
When these terms are updated, the Last Updated date at the top of this page will be revised.
